Digital Gear Indicator using 7-Segment LED Disply for all Automobile

Gear Indicator is very useful to detect the exact gear position in which you are driving the vehicle, then let it be automatic or manual transmission. the indication will alert the driver to shift the gear up or down based on the driving speed he wanted to achieve.
Here i have designed the simple gear indicator using a 7-Segment LED display, it can be extended using 14/16- Segment LED display to get the Alphanumeric values in specific order to display.
The circuit consist of basic electronic components:
Diode- IN4148N 18-pc
Resistor- 470 1/2 watt 7-pc
the diodes are used to sequence a numeric value which will get either on or of using a Not gate logic & the resistor is used to resist the voltage across each LED in a 7-segment display, also to pull-up the sequenced numeric value across the diode.
This circuit can be printed on a PCB to optimize & Embed as a single component along with the 7-Segment display.
